Mr Fails

We would like to introduce you to a good friend of the Cartoon Tester, Mr Fails.

He is an excellent tester but he’s gone through a rough time of late. With Mr Fails’ permission, Andy has written a short biography.  You can download it using the big red ‘Download Mr Fails’ button below.

Mr Fails would love to have feedback.

Leave a comment here to let us know what you think.

    Awesome work.
The management should learn from this and not just the engineers.

All of us can identify with Mr.Fails all the time. Maybe we can add another chapter to it to relate to the example of being the only tester for a product . The entire team from the architect to the managers are all developers.
Mr Fails tries to follow the various testing methodologies to reach his goal wheres his manager asks him to do a quick testing to release the product.
Mr.Fails tries to do everything right but nobody in the team tries to share his vision.

Umm… was the spelling mistake in the blue screen of death (bsod) put in there on purpose? It’s the second “death” (misspelt as “deah”).

Mr Fails story is similar to mine the industry have very wrong beliefs that hamper testing – the best thing it to say/write/share the right beliefs till companies/people realises whats wrong with thier beliefs its hard for one person to upset the way things work but there is hope for change to come through sharing ideas (in a book!) because you may be ahead of your time
