The Ministry of Testing team have started off their 2022 in style with their first Townhall meeting. During the meeting, hosted by Simon Tomes, MoT team members Mark, Áine, Heather and Diana share upcoming news about events, curriculums, building in public, new roles and a new approach to marketing. The team also answer a range of community questions.

Mark Winteringham is a tester, toolsmith and the Ministry of Testing OpsBoss with over 10 years experience providing testing expertise on award-winning projects across a wide range of technology sectors including BBC, Barclays, UK Government and Thomson Reuters.
He is an advocate for modern risk-based testing practices and trains teams in Automation, Behaviour Driven Development and Exploratory testing techniques. He is also the co-founder of Ministry of Testing Essentials a community raising awareness of careers in testing and improving testing education.

Simon is a CommunityBoss at Ministry of Testing and his pronouns are he/him.
Currently learning to be a better community enabler, he has a passion for all things testing with a career in various testing roles since 2003. He particularly enjoys promoting and sharing the value of exploratory testing.
EventBoss at Ministry of Testing
Diana joined the Ministry of Testing family in January 2020 as EventBoss.
She's originally from Portugal, currently living in Manchester, UK and has a degree in Fine Arts - Painting from the University of Lisbon. After Uni, Diana moved to London and a few years later she decided to travel the world by working on cruise ships for Royal Caribbean.
She returned to the UK, this time to Manchester, where she currently lives.
Diana has been in the events industry for over 10 years.
Heather is currently a Test Engineer at Glofox with 10 years of experience in the software industry working as a developer, software tester and community manager. Testing and helping the software testing community is her passion. When she's not testing she's usually exploring or working on restoration projects.
