- Richard BradshawThere’s no denying that automation is a popular topic when it comes to testing and software development. Teams are under increasing pressure to deliver faster, which means a growing demand to use automation to support our work. But how do we go about implementing automation in a way that helps support teams and delivers value? It may be tempting to dive straight into building some tools, but first, we should reflect on what automation is within the context of software development, and the role it plays. - Look at existing definitions of automation, reflect on them and develop our own
- Investigate the skills and knowledge required to succeed in automation
