About the session: What is Quality?
Going back several years, it was hard as a Quality professional to have a seat at the table, let alone an actual voice that would be heard.
These days however, there are more forums and opportunities for us to be heard, and we have become really great at telling people that "Quality is everyone's responsibility" or "Everyone owns quality". But what does that really mean?
What if, in our organisations, we struggle to really define what quality means? How can we ask or expect anybody to truly own something that is unknown or vague? The simple answer is we can't. So to enable ownership, we need to help people discover and understand the answer to the question "What is Quality?"
In this interactive workshop we will be exploring what quality is and what it means to us. Delving into its many facets and trying out some techniques to help our teams and organisations define it for everyone.
As it's a New Year...who knows...we may even have some Lego to help illustrate points and have fun in the workshop!!

This meetup will be a collaborative event alongside another group we host : "Crafty Coders"
Please arrive from 5:30pm so that we can get you signed in with our Security Front Desk, and then escorted to our new Auditorium, where you can get settled and chat with everyone before the talk.
After the talk there is the opportunity for all attendees to take part in 99 Second Talks, where they can use the time to trial a presentation they plan to give, ask for help to the community, share something they are passionate about, virtually anything they can think of.
Finally, there will be complimentary food/drinks (provided by our fabulous sponsor Xpertise Recruitment) and networking until roughly 8:30pm (but you don't have to stay that late if you don't want to).
