Quality Assurance Engineer (Dutch speaker)
This is a permanent, full-time QAE position at the International Quality for Devices team which focuses on expanding devices' capabilities on a global scale.
We take on the unique challenge of understanding the nuances of how devices can serve customers’ needs in different cultures and locations.

The role
As a QA Engineer, you would work with a broad team, collaborating with other QA engineers, software developers, product managers, UX designers and so on to understand the vision and requirements.
You'd be responsible for the entire tool, application and feature, creating test strategies to assess the device quality for international regions, with special focus on Dutch market.
You would also be expected to handle multiple projects and mentor junior members of the team.
The successful QA Engineer has strong customer focus and is obsessed with continuous quality improvement; they are committed to create world class automation for feature testing and regression; they are able to develop and drive a high-level strategy, as well as to take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.

Key job responsibilities
· Develop and execute automated tests and test plans; interpret and report testing results 
· Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines 
· Finding, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution 
· Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented to ensure the highest quality product delivery 
· Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality 
· Evaluating and integrate open source and in house developed toolsets

  • (Mandatory) Verbal and written fluency in Dutch - native or bilingual proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, etc
  • Software QA testing experience
  • Demonstrated experience in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools
  • Software QA automation experience working with one or more of the following technologies: Java, Java Script, Python, C++, etc.

  • Experience working on an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience with professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
