As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you are our team’s main specialist when it comes to further automate Takeaway.com’s testing. You play a pivotal role in developing our testing strategy, measuring the quality of our products and coaching the rest of the team to deliver high-quality software for our consumer applications and Back Office systems.

- Develop the QA strategy, design and build new automated testing solutions
- Work closely with our developers to create and review (automated) tests for new features
- Actively participate in the software development lifecycle in an Agile and cross-functional team
- Coach the rest of the team on how to expand and use test automation solutions
- Assist the team in risk assessment and creating test cases
- Assist Developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving defects
Your profile
- You have at least 5+ years of working experience in QA automation
- You have successfully developed a test strategy including a test automation framework before
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber or Behat, JMeter, Docker, Jenkins, Git and Command line
- Experiences with design patterns
- You are a team player who knows how to work in an Agile/Scrum working environment
- Experience with REST API testing and REST test frameworks like rest-assured
- Experience with Non-Functional testing (ex. Performance or Usability)
- You feel comfortable working with web technologies and scripting/programming languages
- You relish working in a team and enjoy collaborating and sharing knowledge with your peers
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Preferably, you have a valid working permit to work in the EU
