What is the role

Our mission is to simplify the complexities of post-trade and we are seeking an experienced Corporate Actions QA Engineer to join our growing Technology team in our London or Toronto offices.

You will be working with the development and implementation teams, supporting client deployments and change initiatives for existing clients of Inferno, our post-trade processing platform. As a corporate actions subject matter expert, you will be responsible for leading testing on complex implementation projects, including aspects of test planning, execution management and test metric reporting.

The Corporate Actions QA Engineer will work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver business value throughout the project, from development through to go-live.

What we’re looking for:

  • Subject matter expertise with Corporate Actions systems, exposure to one or more of the following:
  • Mandatory and Voluntary corporate actions processing 
  • Withholding tax charging 
  • Dividend Reinvestment processes 
  • Depository/Custodian corporate actions integration 
  • ISO 15022/20022 standards for corporate actions.
  • Good background in QA / Testing with at least 2+ years experience.
  • A good understanding of Agile within a Jenkins CI/CD development environments/processes.
  • Proficient in bug tracking tools such as JIRA and familiar with Confluence
  • A willingness to get involved in detail and to get the job done.
  • Ability to work proactively, independently with minimal supervision when required.
  • Team player who contributes to the QA Team knowledge base and works collaboratively with the QA Team
  • Hard working and motivated, with a logical mindset that combines comprehensive QA skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced customer driven environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, particularly adept at capturing metrics and presenting them to various audiences from technical to business users
