You will join our Edge Product team where we are in the early stages of developing an innovative, cloud-based solution which will form the next generation of Tribal's market leading student management systems.

The role

We are looking for motivated and diligent professionals to join the team in our Hessle and Norwich offices. You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the quality of our student management information software through automated and manual test techniques.

Your tasks will be varied and will include following test strategies, using recognised test methodologies, detecting and tracking defects and providing feedback on the suitability of software for release.

You will also be involved in maintaining real-time meta data, providing work estimates and providing third line support to ensure the resolution of queries.

By creating, designing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts and providing input into the design of user acceptance criteria, you will contribute to the team’s overall goal of ensuring that our customers’ expectations are surpassed.

You will bring with you a focus on quality assurance to help Identify test process optimisation opportunities and contribute to process optimisation.

Your exceptional communication, analytical and problem-solving skills will come into play every day creating and executing test processes in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment and engaging with multiple senior Stakeholders.

You will bring demonstrable knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium or Postman, testing interfaces between systems, the ability to read and write SQL scripts and an understanding of XML/json.

These will go hand in hand with your understanding of Agile methodologies. 

Your experiences in either mobile, accessibility and non-functional testing (security and performance testing (JMeter)) along with Continuous Integration – Methodology and tools i.e. GIT will open opportunities to gain further experience.
