What are "Pathways of learning"?
Pathways of learning are collections of courses, curated by the Ministry of Testing and the Testing community, that you can take to learn a new skill or gain new knowledge. For example, our first Pathway, the UI Automation pathway, offers a collection of courses that will help you progress from complete beginner to UI Automation to creating your first Cypress tests, step by step.
By offering a clear learning journey, Pathways give you everything you need to achieve your specific learning goals.
Why have them?
There are over 1000+ courses, talks, webinars, articles, and podcasts currently on our platform. We have a rich source of information and many opportunities to learn. But when we begin to start learning something new, it can’t difficult to know where to start.
Our new Pathways, which are initially supporting courses, will soon offer curated collections of talks, articles and activities to help you learn and take away the noise of finding the right content to learn. By engaging in a carefully curated Pathway of learning, you can focus on learning new skills and knowledge. You won’t need to worry about whether you've picked the right material or not.
How do I get started?
You can find all our current and upcoming Pathways by visiting the Pathways page on the Dojo. Each Pathway has a summary page detailing what it is about, what courses you should take, and what each course covers to help you decide which Pathway is right for you.
Once you've decided which Pathway you want to take, click the 'Begin the pathway' to start your learning journey. Or click on the 'Register Interest' button to get notified when the Pathway is live. All Pathways are open to our Pro members, yet another reason to go Pro if you haven’t already.
