Thanks for joining us, and let's dive into the world of software testing!

The above paragraph was written by ChatGPT. I asked it to "Write an introduction to a software testing newsletter" and that was the first reply. Impressive and also kinda scary! As this type of technology becomes ubiquitous and perhaps pervasive, how might technology like this impact your testing efforts, test data creation, test reporting and more? 🤔

Last week some of us partied at HolidayBash. A fun time was had by all as we gathered in a virtual snowy space for a quiz, games and Testmaster. It was lovely to see folks embrace the environment and spark up chats. It was another reminder of how excellent this testing community is. 😃

🎧 There are a couple of new podcasts worth checking out. Kristof speaks to Cristiano about adding performance tests to your process. Plus Kristof also had a chat with Darrel on how to elevate the role of quality to create better user experiences.

Here's one from the recent archive. What happened in the video booth? I like to come back to these short 99-second talks as they're super intimate and insightful. Taken from the video booth at TestBash UK 2022.

I’m always curious to hear what folks have used to demonstrate test progress. I always struggled to find the right balance to satisfy the needs of different stakeholders. Who are you trying to motivate? What conversations do you want to spark? What sort of data do you like to see on a dashboard? And Raghu recently asked if it's okay to test another team's code. What do you think? Share your thoughts

Also at Team MoT HQ: We've had honest chats about the products we offer. Lots to evolve and some to sunset. We're a small team supported by an incredible community and a wonderful group of customers. 2023 is shaping up to be a successful year for MoT the business, our customers and the testing community.

Have a good week!
