TestBash Quick Look
The TestBash has workshops as part of the event. We love workshops at TestBash and put a lot of effort into ensuring that they are practical and hands-on. We also limit the number of attendees at our workshops to ensure a great learning experience for everyone there. We don't know how you are expected to learn and get value for money when there are 60+ people in your workshop. Finally, we pay all our workshop instructors and cover all their travel and accommodation expenses.
This TestBash offers childcare. Childcare is available to speakers for free and as low cost as possible for attendees. We are striving to remove barriers with TestBash and childcare is a big one. Offering childcare could make TestBash accessible to someone who previously could not attend. This improves our community and could lead to a whole host of opportunities and benefits for them and others.
There is training before or after this TestBash. We are looking to run training courses more regularly with all the fantastic trainers in the community and before or after a TestBash is a great opportunity to do this.
We do everything we can to make TestBash affordable, whilst also still providing enough money for Ministry of Testing to continue to do all it does. We believe conferences should be affordable regardless of who is paying.
TestBash conferences are single track, meaning that you get to watch every talk and don't have to choose. Another great benefit of this is that everyone sees the same talks and you can have in-depth, enlightening conversations about the content in the breaks.
All the venues for this TestBash event are accessible. We've historically loved a quirky venue for TestBash but sadly not all venues are accessible, we are ensuring they all are.
Community is at the heart of TestBash and the Ministry of Testing. Everything we do at the event is designed to bring all community members together in a safe environment.
Code of Conduct
Ministry of Testing has a strict Code of Conduct that we have and will continue to enforce to make sure everyone feels welcome and safe in our community.
All our TestBash events, including all the workshops, training and talks are in English.
