Here at Ministry of Testing, we’re looking for writers to write articles for The Dojo.
The Joy of Sharing Stories
We love to hear from and learn from testers actively working in the field. What difficulties you’re coming up against, what revelations you’re having, how you’re solving problems, what useful tools you’ve built or discovered, what innovations you’ve thought up, and all the interesting stories in between that make being a tester such a challenging and rewarding job.
What we love even more than this is to share what we’ve learnt with the testing community. That’s why we invest so much time and effort into publishing open articles for the whole community to learn from, to discuss and debate, and to continue to advance the testing craft.
The more perspectives and stories heard and shared, the better. This is where you come in, we want to hear from you! We want to help you get your story heard by the tens of thousands of testers in our community by publishing your thoughts and words as an article on The Dojo. Even if you’ve never written before, it doesn’t matter, we want to work with you to find your voice and tell your story. We’ve all got something to share.
There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
– Maya Angelou

The MoT Writer’s Guide
The article writing process is not easy. It takes a lot of time, work and commitment to get from a topic idea to an article outline, to a first draft, and finally to the published article. We have developed the MoT Writer’s Guide to help you throughout this process: from finding your topic angle, through submitting your article us.
You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.

The quality of the articles published on the Dojo is important to us. Every article goes through a rigorous editorial review process, with several rounds of editing and revision, before being published.

Revision is one of the true pleasures of writing. I love the flowers of afterthought.
