Production validation

Production validation image
Definition: Production validation is a testing in production methodology where monitors in production check, continuously or on each deployment, that the live system is in a healthy state. Typical checks cover file compatibility, connection health, certificate installation and validity, and content freshness.

So what? Many production problems come from configuration and environment issues rather than code. Automated validation catches them early, often before users notice.

Examples: A monitor that alerts when a security certificate is close to expiring. A post-deployment check that confirms connections to key services are working.
