Introduction to VR Testing

Virtual Reality (VR) applications are becoming more present in our daily lives. The possible uses of this technology are varied and far-reaching. While many focus on the gaming side, there are diverse industries such as real estate, fashion and travel that are looking to introduce VR technology into what they do. This means it will become increasingly important for testers to have exposure to the unique context of this domain.

This masterclass gives you an introduction to VR and highlights what makes it such a unique domain. Syed will help you understand the different ways in which you need to adjust your testing approaches to test VR software. You will be guided through some technical aspects of VR software and shown the unique effect minor software issues have on the VR experience. He will also discuss why motion sickness is a major issue and isn’t something to be dismissed.
