The only AI I will ever trust
Trust is earned. It is not forced. It is reliable because you can plainly see that the interactions you experience are for your benefit, and in the end, you become better. The intent is service, and that intent is felt at a deep level, possibly even life-changing.
No, Baymax and Wall-E don't exist. But, they could. If the people creating AI worked from the intention of making the world a better place instead of making back the money they invested, we might see more connection and usefulness being generated. At the time of this writing, what we have is AI slop and people working to avoid Data centers being built in their communities.
If you are working to create a better AI, check your intentions, and think about what would be useful. What real-world problems can be solved? We have enough garbage - both online and on planet earth. Can we make an AI that can unite us and make us better? I don't know. Show me.
