Go Gary Go!

A smiling man stands centre stage in a dimly lit theatre, making a peace sign with his right hand. He is wearing a dark t-shirt, dark jeans, and trainers, with an event badge hanging from a lanyard around his neck. The stage floor is purple and reflects the lighting. Behind him are empty rows of red velvet seats leading up to balconies. A dark lectern with a screen and a black chair are also visible on the stage.
In this memory: Gary Shannon

01/10/25, Brighton.

It's 14:07 on Day 1 of MoTaCon. Everyone's on their lunch break in the Corn Exchange so the Brighton Dome concert hall is mostly empty and calm.

And boy oh boy is it about to get amped.

Gary Shannon is the MoT London Meetup host and he always brings the energy and good vibes.

Here's Gary about twenty or so minutes before he's due to take to the stage as host. We had a brief chat to ensure he was all set and good to go. It's a fun feeling being up on that stage. When the lights are on and the room is full, it's actually quite hard to see anyone. Yet that didn't put Gary off in the slightest. A true professional.

It was lovely to see him in action as a MoTaCon host. He was brilliant! 🤩
