Because innovation has never been a solo effort for me.
It has been shaped by Epic Test Quest, by our incredible Design Heroes, by the communities that opened their doors (QA: Challenge Accepted, Istanbul Software Testing Conference, Ministry of Testing & yvrTesting), and by every single person I’ve met at conferences, workshops, and hallway conversations this past year.
Over these months, we’ve explored how quality can be 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 a process.
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 a stage.
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 a checklist.
Together, we’ve questioned the current system, stretched the boundaries of what “testing” is allowed to be, and built spaces where creativity, design, experimentation, and cross-team collaboration thrive.
That’s what innovation means to me:
• challenging the defaults.
• prototyping new ways of working.
• making quality a shared, joyful, human pursuit rather than a siloed responsibility.
To everyone who voted, supported, debated, played along, or joined an Alpha or beta testing session: THANK YOU.
This award belongs as much to you as it does to me. And also a big Thank you to Aaron my partner and co-founder in business and life who always pushes me to more and who is a big part in this success.
And to the fellow winners (Simon Prior, Lalitkumar Bhamare, Nadia Soledad Cavalleri & 🤠Leandro Melendez) and nominees: you are proof that our community is evolving, brave, and ready for what’s next.
Let’s keep pushing for a future where quality is embedded, creative, inclusive and where innovation is not the exception, but the culture.
