A junior staff had gone through and tested the new enhancement then guided on application deployment to production. At the client site they were unable to deploy file changes to the folder to overwrite existing so they did delete *.* to empty the directory folder to allow copying across.
That is when all hell broke loose as staff in all terminals shouted in unison and we knew he had messed up
But we had a rollback plan anyways
