Write less, test more: mobile automation with Maestro

Create Memory
A small crowd gathered at a cozy meetup space in Milan, watching a live demo on mobile test automation. Smiles, laptops, and snacks. The first Ministry of Testing Milan event in full swing.

On a sunny evening in Milan, we kicked off the very first Ministry of Testing meetup in the city. A long-awaited moment for our local QA and testing community. Sparked by the global energy of MoT, this meetup brought together curious minds passionate about software quality, automation and continuous learning.

The night’s spotlight was on mobile testing, with a hands-on talk titled "Write Less, Test More: Mobile automation with Maestro". Through a real-world demo, attendees saw how Maestro can simplify mobile E2E testing and also where its limits lie. The conversation didn’t shy away from comparing tools or sharing lessons learned, staying true to MoT’s honest, practical spirit.

More than just a talk, this evening marked the start of something exciting: a space in Milan where testers, developers, and quality advocates can meet monthly to connect, learn and grow together.
