AMA Mobile Testing Answer: Mobile testing reviews

Has anyone used any agent‑based mobile testing tools? I’ve come across a few for web‑based systems, but I haven’t found any experience reports for mobile based ones that are not sponsored by the vendor.

I haven't used any yet.  I did do a search and found the same thing you did: a lot of vendor lists with their own software at the top.  How I approach these lists is that I ignore their software on their own list and look at the rest.  It won't have all the info for the competitors, but might give you a better idea on where to start research.

I did find one on LinkedIn from a year ago that reviews Arbigent.
And also, a list on gartner that also might give you somewhere to start.

Hope this helps!
