Laziness, Impatience, and Minding the Gap

As I wait for Claude Code to complete a series of tasks for me, one thing comes to mind. Am I more lazy, impatient, or cautious of gaps?
It occurs to me that AI can be a great assistant, but often a slower one. I could easily change a few Confluence references and formatting errors myself, but I'm too lazy. I could ask Claude to do it for me, but it's so slow. But maybe I'd miss out some references by mistake if I did it myself, which Claude could catch. Or maybe Claude would overwrite my most recent changes without me noticing, which I would not do myself.
In the end, the decision of when and what to use AI for is always with the user, and it always helps to stay sharp and not hand off all the responsibility. After all, everyone makes mistakes.
