Meeting Susanne Abdelrahmen at MoTacon 2026

I just want to give a shoutout to Susanne. My first "gig" with the MoTaverse was a LwQ podcast in 2025 with Rosie that started from a comment I added to Rosies LinkedIn post asking for help around leadership that escalated quickly 😂. While I was anxiously wondering what I would talk about, would it be useful, would I look an idiot etc. Susanne and Rosie's podcast was published - and it was awesome. So I reached out to Susanne on slack to see if she could help. She was amazing and put me at ease as she said she felt the same, giving me a couple of hints. That was the start everything I've done so far.

I thanked Susanne at the time but MoTacon 2026 was the first opportunity I could thank her in person, so I caught up with her and did exactly that. She is a wonderful human being, great to talk to and I've never forgotten that support she gave. Alas I couldn't make her talk as I was in Melissas Quality Management Systems workshop but I did manage to catch the last 5 minutes. When it gets on line, I'll catch up.

I hope others used that opportunity of the community being together to do similar things and thank the ones that have supported you 🙏
