My first (and the first) ever TestBash

Many, far to many, years ago when I was a tester I went to the first TestBash conference (name long since changed) in Cambridge. The year after that they moved to Brighton and have been there ever since.
It was amazing 🤩 it was the first time I've been at a conference dedicated to testing. I felt seen, I was hooked on the ideas and thoughts from the day and the speakers. After that I made a recurring visit to the MOT conference every year. I even recall getting a mug at one of the conferences in celebration of that.
I continued to go to the conferences, and it became a staple for any new company I joined. The road trips to Brighton were epic and have created friendships and memories that are as strong today as there were then.
And now, I'm back. It's been a good few years while I focused on a different part of my life and career. But, oh boy, does it feel great to be going back. And this time I'll not only be learning I hope I'll also get the opportunity to support and help others on their learning.
If this is your first MoTaVerse conference you are in for a real treat, but be careful, there is no going back to normal after experiencing one.
