25 years ago, I started my career in IT, learning coding the old-fashioned way — through teachers, libraries, and physical books, practicing on a computer.
15 years ago, learning shifted online. I would use Google, follow online tutors, and send emails with doubts, waiting patiently for a response.
Today, AI can quickly generate code for me, but I still need to brush up on the basics. Without a solid foundation, I can’t fully judge whether the AI-generated code is correct or efficient.
In 25 years, my tools have changed — computers became laptops, teachers became AI — but the core truth remains: keep learning and keep upgrading your tools. The better your fundamentals, the more you can leverage the tools around you
