Ten10 and The Scale Factory merge to form Scale Factory, a UK AI enablement consultancy

Driving the news. Ten10 Solutions and The Scale Factory have officially united under a single brand, Scale Factory, positioning the combined business as a UK AI enablement consultancy spanning quality engineering, cloud, data, agentic automation, and next-generation capability. The new identity and website went live on 8th June 2026.

The backstory. Ten10, backed by Graphite Capital, acquired The Scale Factory, an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner specialising in cloud migration and modernisation, in November 2024. That deal brought more than 20 staff into the fold and added complementary skillsets in cloud, data, AI, agentic automation, and technology talent development. Rather than running the two as separate divisions, the businesses have now merged into one brand entirely.

Why it matters. The rebrand reflects a bet that quality engineering alone no longer captures where client demand is heading. As Scale Factory CTO Ash Gawthorp put it, most organisations aren't short on AI ambition, they're short on the foundations to act on it, poor data quality, legacy infrastructure, and a lack of quality engineering discipline are what kill AI initiatives before they reach production. Combining Ten10's quality heritage with The Scale Factory's cloud and AI expertise is framed as a way to treat AI delivery as a systems-engineering problem, not just a pilot exercise.

The bigger picture. Ten10 is positioned as a UK-based technology services group helping organisations adopt, scale and govern cloud, software, data and AI with confidence, working predominantly onshore for regulated and security-conscious clients, with the ability to deploy security-cleared consultants into sensitive environments. The merged Scale Factory carries that forward, holding AWS Advanced Consulting Partner status and ISO 27001 certification, with clients across financial services, defence, the public sector, and professional services. 

By the numbers. The combined business has delivered more than 3,500 projects to date. Its operating model centres on five areas: Confidence Through Quality, AI Foundations Built Right, Scale Without Compromises, AI That Delivers Value, and Capability That Endures, the last of which is built on Scale Factory's Tech Academy, which trains and embeds talent directly within client teams rather than handing work off and walking away.
