The MoTaCon Effect
02 Oct 2026
Over the many (many!) years I've attended MoTaCon, and it's previous incarnations, I've always found that the day after is a strange combination of tiredness and feeling reinvigorated.
MoTaCon for me is many hours of learning, understanding and thinking where and how things might be useful day to day. It's hours of socialising, networking and meeting new and familiar people - Folks I've not seen for years randomly appear and there's an instant connection again and catching up about what's been happening, where they are now, how life is etc and meeting new folks on their quality and testing journey.
It's always a fantastic event, and as a community I think we're lucky to have it.
Today I will be a little more tired, a little more quiet, but a whole lot happier than usual.
Here's to many more years of MoTaCon - Thanks everyone at the MoT! ππ»
