The Test Is Green Again. But What Did the AI Agent Change?
22 Oct 2026
A failing test gets auto-healed. The next run passes. Problem solved?
Maybe. But if an AI agent changed the test to make it pass, someone still needs to know what changed and whether the test is checking the right behaviour.
Our latest blog explores a question testing teams are beginning to face: how much can an AI testing agent do on its own, and where should a person step in? It covers review checkpoints, ownership of AI-generated tests, and ways to trace an agent’s decisions when something needs investigating.
The part I’d be most curious to hear from other testers about: would you review every auto-healed test, or only changes that affect higher-risk flows?
Read the blog and tell us where you’d draw the line.
