Who taught you to test?

Test Up North. Crispin Reed of The Coders Guild gave a talk all about teaching testing. It was called ‘Who taught you to test?’

The second question was, what did they give you? There were some really interesting answers and it made me wonder how would you answer those questions? Let me know in the comments and thank the people and or award them stars.

My answers were slightly different. A book taught me testing in the beginning. The Art of Software Testing, by Glenford J Myers. A really old book I’d still recommend today. So what did ‘they’ give me? A book. A new perspective on something I’d never even thought about. An approach. An interest on learning more.

Your turn.
