The TestBash fever is spreading and the list is getting longer. Following Brighton, Manchester, the US, Belfast and the Netherlands, TestBash is coming to Germany! Yes, that’s right. TestBash is coming to Munich!
After experiencing TestBash in Brighton and Manchester, both on and off stage, our vision was set. We – Kristine (@e_tester) and Patrick (@TestPappy) – need to bring this awesome experience to Germany! We bring the recipe of amazing speakers, inspiring content, a great atmosphere, and a friendly and engaging community to Munich.
The first single track TestBash Germany will take place on Friday, 6th October 2017 in the “Münchner Künstlerhaus am Lenbachplatz”, followed by an open space session on Saturday.
“This house shall be a meeting point for all artists and artisans of Munich, a center for cheerfulness, advice, and first moves” it says in the charter that was read out during the laying of the cornerstone of the “Münchner Künstlerhaus” in 1893. This motto we want to pair with the Ministry of Testing’s “Co-creating smarter testers” and invite all testers and people interested in testing to this amazing and inspiring place in the heart of Munich.
Anyone Can Apply To Speak
You have stories and ideas you want to share with us or the solution of a tricky problem you solved. We want talks that are highly creative, fun, but still focus on learning.
The Ministry of Testing now has a Continuous Call for Papers. This means you can apply to speak at TestBash Germany at the same time as to any of the other TestBashes. We will be reviewing TestBash Germany submissions until 14th February 2017 – this means if you submit before this date then your submission will be considered for Germany.
TestBash is a very friendly community conference and the right place to start your speaker career – 99 seconds or 30 minutes – it is up to you! New voices – we want to give you a stage to share your stories and to send sparks of your testing fire to an inflammable and engaged audience. If you have passion and energy for your profession, this is the place to share it!
