Software Developer

I’m a Scrum Master in training and Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development. As of August 2026, I have been developing my Scrum Master skills through increased involvement in agile practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stakeholder engagement, and supporting effective collaboration across teams.

Alongside this, I work across multiple systems that support young people and the professionals who work with them. My day-to-day responsibilities include developing new features, maintaining existing applications, resolving defects, and supporting users across a range of products. I work primarily with C#, Blazor, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Azure, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.

Since July 2025, I have also been a member of the support team, helping to investigate and resolve production issues while ensuring systems remain reliable and effective for end users. Quality is a key part of my role, and I regularly collaborate with our QA tester to clarify requirements, investigate defects, improve testing coverage, and support successful releases.

I work closely with Product Owners to understand business needs, refine requirements, and help ensure that the solutions we deliver provide real value to users. This has given me a greater appreciation for the importance of communication, collaboration, and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
