Definitely something I will take onboard for the future! Many times documentation for a project has been passed around teams, discussed, but never updated. By the time it reaches the tester, the idea or scope has changed, but their documents have stayed the same.
Sounds like it would be a good idea to write my own documentation; highlighting my observations of the project as I progress through it, for me to reference in retrospectives!
