I would like to highlight one major point, in my opinion. QA engineers should feel supported by their leads. If you feel that you may be punished for any mistake, it drains your energy much faster. Fear consumes more energy than the work itself. QA leads should understand when corrective action is necessary and when support is more appropriate. When your team trusts and respects you, any inconsistencies in the process can be resolved more easily.
