Charles Penn demonstrates TestComplete, an automated testing tool from SmartBear that he has used for over a decade, primarily for Windows desktop application testing. 

He walks through creating a test project using a calculator demo, showing how to use the ObjectSpy tool to identify UI elements, implement the page object pattern, and structure tests with proper setup and teardown. 

The demonstration covers TestComplete’s scripting capabilities, object identification methods, test execution with visual feedback, and logging features. 

Charles also discusses integration with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, the challenges of UI testing fragility, and TestComplete’s licensing costs.
