Educational Justice For Testers - Vera Gehlen-Baum

Educational Justice is a topic we mainly talk about for formal education like schools and universities. But educational justice should be discussed for all learning, regardless of the age of the learner, their educational and social background or the topic. Often when we talk about educational justice we talk about equality, which means that every learner receives the same learning material at the same time - and that sounds fair, as every learner gets the same treatment and content. Unfortunately, most often it is not! Learners are individuals and have different requirements on the content to be learned, based e.g. on their interest and prior knowledge.

In this talk, I will show what educational justice is and how it could be integrated in the everyday life of a tester as well as the benefits it may provide.
