Career Breaks and How They Shaped Me and My Career - Kiruthika Ganesan

Career breaks are becoming more common nowadays whether it is a paid one or an unpaid one.
Mental health has taken a centre stage and more companies and individuals are focussing on work-life balance, sabbatical leave, flexible working, reduced hours, remote working, better benefits and much more.
A break from the mundane day job can give you perspective, rekindle the lost passion, and maybe even take a new direction towards your career.
My career journey has those ups and downs too, such as handing in my resignation, moving to a new country, starting again from the ground level, learning new skills, going on maternity breaks and coping with all of it.
This talk is about my experiences, what worked, what were the struggles and how it has enriched my career.
