Refund Policy
For details on our refund deadlines and policies, please refer to the information below; note that our policies differ between services and professional memberships, and that payment options may vary from one Service to another. Please also note that we treat violations of our Acceptable Use Policy very seriously, and we have no obligation to offer refunds to Service Users who are found to be in violation of these terms, even if their requests are made within the designated refund period.

Individual Professional Membership & Team Membership Subscription Payments
Professional memberships are charged on an automatic renewal basis upon their anniversary date. If you are a new member and cancel your paid annual subscription for an individual Professional Membership or Team Membership, we will offer you a complete refund up until 30 days after purchase.
Your subscription will continue for 12 months and then will automatically renew unless and until you cancel your subscription or the subscription is suspended or terminated by Ministry of Testing.
For members outside of the first sign up year, if you terminate your Annual Professional Membership, you will continue to have access until the end of the Annual Renewal Term, your Membership Plan will automatically downgrade to Club Membership and will not be billed for the next billing cycle.
Unlimited Professional Membership
Unlimited Professional Membership purchases are non-refundable.
Event Ticket Purchases
If you cancel your paid registration for an event, we will offer you a refund of the full fee less a 15% administration fee up until 45 days prior to the event start date. Paid registration fees are non-refundable if cancellation is within 45 days of the event.
In the unlikely occurrence of a cancellation of an event by the Ministry of Testing, delegates will be offered a full refund or a credit note against an equivalent future Ministry of Testing event.
Event Sponsorship Purchases
MoT Event Sponsorship packages are non-refundable.
MoT Certification Purchases
MoT Certification purchases are non-refundable. This includes but is not limited to the following certifications:
- MoT Software Testing Essentials Certificate
- MoT Foundation Certificate in Test Automation
- MoT Intermediate Certificate in Test Automation
- MoT Advanced Certificate in Test Automation
Advertising Purchases
Advertising purchases are non-refundable. This includes but is not limited to the following advertising options:
- Newsletter Ads
- Website Ads
- Event Listings
- LinkedIn Posts
- Masterclasses
- Workshops
MoT Partner Purchases
MoT Partner purchases are non-refundable. If you cancel your MoT Partner Membership this will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.
Other Paid Services
Except as described in this Refund Policy or as explicitly stated on our Services, Ministry of Testing has no obligation to provide refunds or vouchers for any other Services.
Force Majeure
Ministry of Testing shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, supervening legislation, pandemics and endemics or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
