In this session, Jenna Charlton was joined by three testing experts to discuss all things API Testing.

Our three career experts are:

  1. Jaswanth Manigundan - Jaswanth is a lead test automation engineer working as a part of the QE practice at Culture Amp led by the legendary Anne-Marie Charret.
  2. Pricilla Bilavendran - Pricilla is a passionate test engineer with a decade of experience in Quality Assurance. For the past three years, she has been in a relationship with APIs and never stopped exploring and playing around with APIs.
  3. Ali Haydar - a senior software engineer, team leader and an AWS community builder, who is excited by solving real-world problems, mainly with technology (sometimes it starts operationally and then gets automated).

This session is filled with personal journeys, expert strategies, and unusual bugs. It's a treasure trove for anyone looking to master API testing!

The panellists discuss the critical differences between API testing and other forms of testing, emphasizing the unique challenges and the best practices to address them. You'll discover their favourite tools that streamline their testing process and gain insight into how emerging technologies like GraphQL and event-driven architectures are revolutionising API testing.

This conversation is a must-watch for anyone keen to deepen their understanding of API testing; offering real-world experiences, professional tips, and motivation to explore the future of testing APIs.
