2025 was a year on hard mode, but I also found some amazing things that brought me energy and inspiration 😊. This year I want to do more of those.
I get energy from good challenges, last year I started test automation. Each time I worked on that I felt so energized by all the things I was learning and figuring out. I need to continue doing this!
After my talk at MotaCon so many people approached me saying they were inspired, either by my talk or just by me being on stage to do a talk. Hearing how I inspired them inspired me on all the things I do that can make a difference to people. I want to find more ways to inspire others and myself this year.
I'm always happy trying new things, whether it's pressing new buttons or doing a new activity, I love discovering! This year I want to try more new things, both in the Motaverse and outside. I'm already planning on trying to add new terms to the Mot Glossary and I want to find a new hobby this year. Listening to podcasts is the first thing on my list to try.
If anyone has any recommendations (on hobbies to try, podcasts to listen, things that bring inspiration or energy, ...) let me know 🤗

Before I was a software tester, I was a baker. I switched to find a job were I can keep learning and growing. Every day talking with other testers, diving into new skills, giving presentations, ...

All the best for your goal. A hobby to try could be jigsaws or puzzles, there's also the Wasgij version that can be fun. Can be combined with podcasts!
