My 1st Talk at MoT PH Meetup

Create Memory
Memory entry about giving a first talk at a Ministry of Testing Philippines meetup in July 2023, presenting on Katalon Studio for faster regression testing at eCloudvalley PH.

Back in July 2023, I finally faced one of my biggest fears, which was speaking in front of a crowd. I became a speaker at a Ministry of Testing Philippines meetup, and it was both nerve-wracking and exciting.

I shared my journey with web end-to-end automation testing, demonstrating how our team at eCloudvalley PH utilized Katalon Studio to accelerate and enhance the reliability of regression testing. Preparing for the talk pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it also reminded me of how much I’ve grown as a QA and how far I’ve come since I started in tech.

What made this moment unforgettable wasn’t just the technical side of it, but the personal milestone of standing on stage, telling my story, and realizing I actually enjoyed connecting with fellow testers. That day gave me the courage to see myself not just as someone working behind the scenes, but as someone who has a voice worth sharing.
