The Bundling of the MoTaverse has arrived

People talk about bundling and then unbundling in the startup and software space.

COVID had a ton of unbundling happening. Now we are seeing the bundling as people look to do reduce their tool stack.

The same can happen in communities, and I'm going through that right now. It feels pretty exciting to be bundling up what we've been working on the past couple of years.

As communities grow and scale, new challenges with multiple offerings arise. What I'm now seeing is the value of bundling all of our things into one thing and it's proving super attractive to our people.

What started as people coming for the community, now also means coming for:

✅ the knowledge
✅ the data, research & trends
✅ the certifications
✅ the conferences
✅ the personal or company reach
✅ the jobs
...and more will surely come!

It's increasingly counter productive to go to a million different places to get one thing for our professional growth. As communities grow and get better at serving their people, we can bundle stuff up to become way more attractive.

For MoT this is exciting, as we not only have Unlimited Membership now, but we're also applying that to Teams, to unbundle it for teams.

What's clear, from speaking to many people, we have the learning and personal development opportunities that are simply not available anywhere else for software testing and quality engineering professionals. And that's what we are doubling down on.

Personal development isn't just learning courses and knowledge. It's also an opportunity to regularly participate and contribute. Crucial to this is also gaining the recognition, which is a huge part of what we are doing too.
