🚂 Today my train journey was delayed

I was making the trip to Bristol today and my connecting train was cancelled due to a fault on the train.

Of course I wondered, about what that fault was.

Then I saw how it impacted the wider system.

And all I could think of was Eamon's and his 99 second talk on the quality of trains.

Did I have a quality train experience today? No.

Was the train faulty? Yes.

Do I always plan to arrive early when I take the train? Yes.

Do I accept it? Yes, because there's no alternative.

I have no real story here apart from the fact that every time I take a train and see a problem, then I think of Eamon. 🚂
