At this points folks were tasked with reflecting on their experience of transitioning to a new role and what that meant for their influence and impact. I enjoyed Barry getting in amongst the tables to listen and encourage.
One such reply stood out: "I started inviting myself to the table and started asking difficult questions."
Barry reminded us that our titles may change but what's important is that we are trying to find our identity. We must discover what we are responsible for.
