A human tech community

It’s easy to get lost in everything AI. And tonight at the London Chapter casual catchup was no exception.

We talked about AI a lot. Like most of every conversation came back to AI. But I’m glad we did. It’s clear everyone is nervous, cautious, fed-up, excited, nervous again and a mixture of all the emotions and feelings.

This is why it’s good to talk about this stuff. It’s a good reminder that the MoTaverse is a human tech community. We might be able to seek answers, a bit of solace and a sense of companionship (!) with our favourite LLM but it’s being human and conversing with a human being that really matters.

I’m glad we’re doubling down on all that.

Good catch! You’re I’m absolutely right.
