All things security now has a home

21 Aug 2026

In this moment: Security Chapter
All things security includes
  • Application security and OWASP
  • Automated testing for governance controls, eg. as included in GRC engineering
  • Regulatory compliance for EU NIS2, NIST, ISO27001, CIS18
  • Resilience, Backup- & restore testing, business continuity,
  • Sovereignty

Often there are handled by a Security team, but what often becomes the focus is to ask about if processes exist, not to actually try them out and perform actual testing. That is where the quality engineering skills step in - we know technology and business to plan and align an exercise with a range of tests to explore the "system under test". This time the SUT, though is more processes and the organization rather than a technical solution.
