Community Infrastructure and The AI Minimum Viable Community

My thinking on community is changing. One such recurring theme that keeps coming up is the idea that we don't build community and that thought has pushed me towards thinking about community infrastructure and how we actually do build community.

To help me continue to build the MoTaverse I push myself to keep writing and thinking about what community means, my outlet for this is on Rosieland.

I revisited some of my previous Minimum Viable Community (MVC) work, now with a hint of AI, and again I found myself shifting my understanding of MVCs in terms of infrastructure.

So now when I think about what an MVC is, I define it as:

The definition is not the point, but it may be helpful to direct our community thinking.

When we build good community infrastructure, connection, realtionships,  and value comes naturally. Infrastructure needs real consideration and investment and having this focus doesn't mean it takes away that people are core to this too.  When we have great community infrastructure, we'll have many more great examples of beautiful communities.
