Realising debugging output is about tethering it to human generated content

Nick Pykett gave an interesting talk on ensuring test output from AI is reliable, and that this can be achieved from linking it to user generated content, in this context to gherkin test steps. This enables faster debugging and more human control. I wonder how else this basic concept can be applied.
