Driving the news. WonderProxy has launched WonderSwitcher for iOS and macOS, bringing its geo-switching tool to Apple's App Store and closing a long-standing gap in its testing toolkit. The free app is available to all existing WonderProxy customers, lets testers route traffic through the company's global proxy network from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac without the manual configuration that previously made mobile testing a chore.
The story so far. WonderProxy built its reputation on proxy-based geo-testing for desktop browsers, but iOS was always awkward territory. Safari's extension model doesn't support proxies, and configuring them manually on an iPhone meant digging through Wi-Fi settings and re-entering credentials every time a location change was needed. Many testers simply skipped it.
How it works. WonderSwitcher sidesteps the proxy problem entirely by using VPN. Once connected to a WonderProxy account, the app imports server details automatically, no copy-pasting hostnames or credentials. It generates a unique IKEv2 credential for authentication, then lets users browse the full server list, search by location, and save favourites. Switching takes a few taps.
Why it matters. It opens up testing of native iOS and macOS apps, something proxies couldn't touch. For teams serving audiences where iPhone and iPad users dominate, that's a meaningful expansion of what's testable without leaving a real device.

"iOS has been a thorn in our side for years. We kept telling customers we had great global coverage and then watching them struggle to test on the device half their users actually carry. WonderSwitcher finally fixes that โ and because it's free for existing customers, there's no reason not to try it today."
