Ady asks the MoTaverse #4 Mindset chapter draft
1) Useful or interesting?
Yes. The opening building example sets the scene clearly and makes the inclusive mindset easy to understand.
2) Good parts:
- Including tools and explaining their practical use.
- Including the scope and financial aspects of this market.
- Explaining where accessibility fits within the SDLC, especially useful for junior team members.
3) Is anything missing?
Some real-world software industry examples would add value. For example, a company losing significant revenue or customers because accessibility requirements were missed, alongside positive examples of companies succeeding through an inclusive mindset. I also wondered whether accessibility goals should be defined at project initiation stage by management or business team rather than at development stage.
4) Want to read more?
Yes. The flow of Mindset shift β Theory β Example β Practical implementation helps readers visualise how to understand and apply accessibility testing within their teams.
