Back to the basics: Rethinking how we use AI in testing
Thank you all, I really appreciate the feedback and the discussion.
Especially now, as AI produces code at scale, our role in quality and testing is more critical than ever. To adopt AI meaningfully, we must first deeply understand and respect the fundamentals. Otherwise, we risk creating noise and false signals, repeating past debates like manual vs automation that missed the essence of quality.
This is the time to strengthen our craft, not dilute it, as Gary pointed out.
