Friction has a complex relationship with quality image
Great conversation. I've shared a mindmap on it in the MoT Slack. It would be cool to build upon it. I could imagine curating a collection and then combining it into a list of frictions. I feel a memory post incoming. :)

Most excellent. 🤩
Advocacy beyond developers image
On the point of sharing and goals. This made me think of "your future self will thank you for putting something out there". I often say that to myself for the photos I take, and then look back on many years later. The same can be applied to all content. It's a point of reflection, individually and as a community.
Continuous Remembering image
Ah, thanks for reading! I think saving bookmarks counts too, which is partly how the MoTaverse remembers. Anything you add to the Observatory, you can look back on and help you remember, whilst others can benefit from what you have discovered. Have you heard of Second Brain and Personal Knowledge Management? It's basically what you are doing with your notes. The MoTaverse is trying to some what bring some of those second brain aspects together. Some of in a community way, other parts in a more formal way (Moments, Articles, Talks, etc). The cool thing with having your own notes is that you could probably stick them into Claude to help you make more sense of them, perhaps that could inspire some knowledge sharing as a Moment? :)

It was a nice experiment to organise London Chapter gathering differently image
The simple act of gathering to converse is so underrated. This is a great reminder for me to do this again in Brighton.
MoTaverse is always Close to you! image
Very cool to see you two together :)
My 2026 Goal: From Writing to Speaking image
We can certainly explore doing some conversational or talks at MoT.

I've been working in the software testing and quality engineering space since the year 2000 whilst also combining it with my love for education and community. It turns out quality, community and education go nicely hand in hand.
